Platform: Snout Swap (App + Website)
Nature: Intermediary marketplace for products, rentals, and local services
By using Snout Swap, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Snout Swap services, including listing, renting, buying, selling, and local service bookings.
2. Definitions
- Marketplace: Snout Swap app and website.
- Listing: Any item or service posted by a user.
- Provider: User offering a product, rental, or service.
- Buyer: User purchasing, renting, or booking.
- Honor Score: Trust score based on user activity and behavior.
- AI Services: Listing assistance, categorization, and fraud support tools.
3. Service Description
Snout Swap is an intermediary platform connecting users. We do not own listed items, directly provide listed services, or act as principal in transactions between users.
4. Accounts, Verification & KYC
- You must provide accurate account details and maintain account security.
- Some features may require KYC (such as payouts or high-value activity).
- Aadhaar-based verification is used only where legally permitted and with consent.
- For Aadhaar flows, Snout Swap follows UIDAI-compliant mechanisms (authentication/tokenized e-KYC) and does not store Aadhaar numbers in plain text outside allowed controls.
- Selfie liveness checks may be used for identity confirmation.
Compliance note: Aadhaar and biometric handling are regulated; these terms should be read with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
5. Listings & AI
- AI tools may help generate titles, descriptions, categories, and listing suggestions.
- You remain responsible for final listing content and legal compliance.
- AI output is assistive and may not always be accurate; review before publishing.
6. Honor Score & Moderation
- Honor Score may influence listing visibility, access, and eligibility for features.
- Scores are based on activity such as completion history, ratings, disputes, and cancellations.
- Snout Swap may restrict accounts for low scores, fraud signals, or policy violations.
- You may request human review for material automated moderation outcomes.
7. Payments & Refunds
- Payments are processed via integrated payment gateway partners.
- Snout Swap does not currently provide escrow or platform-held deposit services.
- Refunds and disputes follow the policy in Payments & Refunds.
8. Insurance & Upcoming Features
Optional damage protection, insurance, and cross-city delivery capabilities may be introduced in future updates. Terms for such features will be published when launched.
9. Liability Limitation
- Snout Swap acts as an intermediary platform and does not guarantee transaction outcomes between users.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising from the service is limited to amounts paid by the claimant to Snout Swap in the previous 12 months.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or opportunity.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Snout Swap against claims arising from your misuse of the service, violation of law, or breach of these Terms.
11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abusive behavior, policy breaches, or legal non-compliance.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by Indian law. Formal dispute resolution may include mediation/arbitration and competent courts as required by applicable law.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are communicated in-app, on the website, or by email.
