Focus: Safer product, rental, and service transactions
Overview
Trust is the backbone of SnoutSwap. We combine identity verification, community ratings, behavior scoring, and moderation controls to keep the marketplace safer for everyone.
1. Verification
- Identity verification options may include Aadhaar (compliant/tokenized flow), passport, PAN, OTP verification, and selfie liveness checks for higher-trust actions.
- Liveness is used for verification purposes and managed in accordance with applicable legal and retention requirements.
- Verification requirements may vary by category, risk level, payout eligibility, and transaction value.
2. Honor Score
- Honor Score reflects behavior indicators such as completion rate, ratings, cancellations, and dispute outcomes.
- Higher score can improve visibility and platform benefits; lower score may reduce access to features.
- AI-assisted abuse detection may contribute to risk signals. Users can appeal material score-related actions through support.
3. Listing Rules & Prohibited Activity
- All listings and services must comply with local law and platform policies.
- Prohibited examples include illegal goods, stolen property, fraudulent listings, and unlawful service offers.
- Misleading listings or repeat violations may result in immediate restriction or account suspension.
4. Booking Safety
- Use in-app chat, confirm details clearly, and maintain receipts/screenshots.
- For physical exchanges, prefer public locations and identity checks.
- For service bookings, confirm provider credentials where relevant.
5. Disputes & Enforcement
- Report disputes within 48 hours of the issue when possible.
- Support may review chats, booking records, and submitted evidence to decide actions.
- Repeated abuse affects Honor Score and can lead to restrictions or permanent bans.
6. Insurance & Protection
Optional insurance and protection layers are planned as future features. Until then, users should review listing terms carefully and transact responsibly.
7. Report an Issue
