At Snout Swap, we prioritize trust and safety. A Verified Profile helps other users know they’re interacting with a genuine person, reducing risks of fraud or misrepresentation.

1. Why Verification Matters

  • Increases confidence when renting or buying/selling items.
  • Helps establish a Trust Score visible to other users.
  • Encourages safe and transparent transactions on the platform.

2. Verification Process

Users may be asked to provide valid identification, such as:

  • Driving Licence
  • Government-issued ID (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.)

Verification documents are encrypted and stored securely, only used to confirm identity. Once verified, a “Verified” badge appears on your profile.

3. Benefits of a Verified Profile

  • Higher Trust Score, making users more likely to transact with you.
  • Access to premium features (future updates, Rent-to-Own options, etc.).

  • Upload your ID or relevant document.
  • Snout Swap team reviews the document.
  • Once approved, your profile shows the Verified badge.
